Enhancing AI Agent Capabilities by Adding an MCP Server to OpenShift Lightspeed

Hello, this is Mosuke. This article is part of the OpenShift Advent Calendar 2025.

I learned that MCP (Model Context Protocol) can be installed on OpenShift Lightspeed (although it is still in Developer Preview), so I decided to try it out immediately.

This time, just following the article wouldn’t be very interesting, so I’d like to try installing a different MCP server. I will be using kubernetes-mcp-server.
